This week Swifts had a trip to Canterbury. We did some research into the shops in town and spoke to members of the public to see why they were in town. We also visited the library and read some great books too.
Swift class had a fantastic time at the Canterbury light festival. We were joined by our friends and family to celebrate Christmas in Canterbury. We showed off our Santa lanterns and had a great time, even if our ears hurt after following the band.
Year 2 are learning how to join fabric and other material together. Last week the children started off using glue, Blu-tac, cello tape, paper clips, and staples and explored the need for something better!
